Worst Telco in the World

We have had 6 BRI Lines down with Telkom since Dec2016 and we are now in May 2017 and the lines are still down. You can only ever log a call with support who actually dont care. The next day the calls are just closed with a status of your fault has been repaired - which of course it hasnt.

Log a new call and the same process follows.

No Telkom techinician has even come out - never, not even once.

Called again this morning and the response once there is a general failure and they are working on it.

How big is the problem that its been down for 6 months and still cannot be repaired.

We have now app**** for fibre so that we can cancel all our Telkom services and move away from them completely and I would recommend the same to anyone who uses TELKOM.

Thanks

Reviewer Update

Morning,

A bulk fault that has continued for 6 months – that’s impossible.

There are many businesses in the area and they would all have the same issue then and Telkom would (Im hoping) not leave them without servicess for that long.

What is the issue that would leave us without lines for 6 months and counting – surely this would be critical at this stage and time period and Telkom would have this on the highest priority?

We have upset and lost so many clients because of this and they are rating and slating us on Social Media because of this – This is affecting our bottom line and reputation.

I have also been charged rental for all of that period and have even complained to your accounts about that – with no credit either being passed.

Also – we are doing everything possible to move all our services away from Telkom because of this and will also spread the word in this regard and will advise people never to use Telkom’s services.

I know you can’t keep all clients happy but I have logged many faults for this issue – all which have just been closed the next day.

Surely I would get updates and contacted first before closing calls.

You can check our history from Jan to date of calls logged and all have just been closed without any contact to me.

And if as you say it’s a bulk area issue then how can the calls be closed they should be kept open and escalated so that the urgency can be maintained and the actual work completed.

Thank You for the reply

Still a very unhappy Telkom client
