Worst service I have ever experienced

<p>I would not recommend dealing with Telkom if you are looking to get internet in your home. Rather get fibre with Mweb or a wireless router until your area gets fibre.I made the unfortunate mistake of ordering a land line so that I can get a wifi connection installed. I initially ordered a 4mb line from Telkom over the phone. The next day I phoned them and said I don't want the adsl line anymore, I just want the landline for R200 p/m. The consultant said no problem, she will "amend" the order and therefore nothing needs to be cancelled. On Tuesday Telkom installed the adsl and landline. They were only supposed to install the landline. It turns out that the consultant was supposed to cancel the initial order. For 3 days I have been phoning 10210 and getting the wrong information. I was given reference number ********** 39A. I was finally told today that I need to fill in a cancellation form and email it to servcancellation ********** In addition, it will take 30 days and there will possibly be cancellation fees involved. Heed this email as a warning. Don't get *****ed over like I did. I would recommend avoiding Telkom at all costs. </p> <p> </p> <p>Brendon</p> <p> </p>
