WORST SERVICE FROM TELKOM

Its almost a week now and my phone has not been sorted - okay its just a week, but before that it wasn't working for almost more than a month and this is has been like a norm where the phone doesnt work (there is no cable theft in my area, yet that is the excuse they give all the time to not deal with a customer) - the fault had been raised but nothing was done about it - eventually it got fixed for like 2-3days and then it was back to square one - cable fault again.

the service from Telkom is extremely slow and pathetic a technician came out saying that we must get the cordless phone but what they don't understand is that i have ADSL and that works of a wired connection (which is not working due to the cable fault) .........

Every time i try and phone i am on hold waiting for someone for more than an hour, i get fed up and i email them, but then they email me after 4-5 days after me sending an email to them with a reply, saying that someone is busy working on it and they cant give me any other feedback apart from that - what BS is that....i don't think they even know what the hell they are doing......i have to get feedback from my ISP about what is the update from Telkom and this is the reply that i got this morning from my ISP ------ "Please note the fault is still sitting with the assigner waiting for an available tech to be assigned and dispatched" ........... i think i have a better chance of winning the Lotto before a tech even comes out to sort this issue ........i wonder what is the SLA on an open call reference (makes you wonder!!!!)

if you going to fix something then fix it so that you don't have to keep on coming back to the same issue all the time - this is the first time i have dealt with Telkom on this level due to my ADSL not working and i am truly and utterly disappointed at the lack of service delivery and the pathetic interest in communicating with their customer (which is extremely unhelpful when they do bother to reply)............all i can do is vent my frustration over this platform but like everything else that is happening in this country, nothing will be done about this SP
