Worst service ever!!!
<p>I did an online order on 17 July and I still have not received my phone. The initial call after the online application was done took about an hour and in that hour I was still not given comprehensive information and was told I will receive the phone between 7 - 14 working days...<br /> <br /> They debited my bank account on 25 July, this was something they forgot to mention during the hour long phone call on 17 July and apparently they do this for verification purposes. Understandable, but would have been nice if this was explained beforehand. I phoned to enquire why my account was debited and was explained the verification part and was told I would receive the phone shortly due to the fact that the debit went off successfully.<br /> <br /> On 1 August I still had no phone and made another call to Telkom. I spoken to a guy named Dino and he apparently escalated the matter and told me I can call the couriers the following day as my order is currently being processed. Two days later on 3 August I phoned again as the courier company knew nothing of my delivery. Dino apparently escalated the matter again and I was told a manager will contact me by COB, I am still waiting by the way.<br /> <br /> I phoned again on 08 August and asked to speak to a manager. (On 8 August, it was 17 working days since 17 July.) I spoke to a woman named Sharlene and the story once again changed. So apparently now the 7 - 14 working days start from the day the 1st debit order goes off. Excuse me, what??? It has been 3 weeks already!! And now you're telling me I have to possibly wait another week? So basically, if I'm lucky, I will get my phone a month after I placed my order? I am so confused as to how it can possibly take this long?! I was also told by Sharlene that a manager would get in contact with me by COB and will explain everything to me in detail. Needless to say, I'm still waiting for the call and it is now the 10th of August.<br /> <br /> Online services are supposed to be more user friendly and convenient is it not? And as far as I know there is something like overnight couriers? I wonder how Vodacom and even MTN gets to be so sufficient that I was able to walk out with my contract phone on the same day and less then 2hours later? Amazing isn't it...<br /> <br /> I would never ever ever advocate Telkom to anyone. I have never had such pathetic service in my life!!</p>
