Worst Service At Telkom

Before I left SA, I activated international roaming. Not that I wanted to make any calls nor sms. However I wanted to make sure that I use my number once in a while so that it won't be recycled. To my surprise, when I arrived in Taiwan my sim card is not active. Yet, I activated 7 days before. I do recharge my sim card monthly. However I can't use it, as to make sure it's "active"

Telkom agents are telling me that my number will be recycled after 3 months. Whose fault is it that my number was not activated? Cause I did active it on my end. I'm now un South Korea, still it's not working. Please contact me at ***
