worst service and *****

Worst service I’ve ever experienced….. original I app**** for a 10 meg line and was more than satisfied, when I purchased a new house I requested for my line to be relocated and waited weeks for this to happen, irrespective of how many times I followed up. Secondly the line speed was perthitic…. +-1.5 to 1.7 upload and down load, I logged numerous complaints and eventual they came out and after the 3rd attempt ,they manged to get me to a 4.3 to 5 meg line and I was happy(even though I pay for a 10meg line) please note that my wife uses the internet for business. Two days after the service was repaired I received a call from Telkom stating that they want to move me to LTE as they are moving away from copper and LTE will provide me with a faster line. much closer to the 10 megs I pay for, they also stated that there is no extra contract and that it’s a month to month contract(I confirmed this numerous times). I gave the go ahead over the phone for a shift without a new contract that forces me to stay with this service provider and at no extra cost. After two weeks they sent a new device and we installed it the very next day as they cancelled our copper line(no assistance to set up the new device) once this was done we discovered that the internet is worse than before and I decided to contact Telkom only to find out that the whole process had to start from scratch………….. to put insult to injury, they have apparently put me on a 24 month contract that I never gave a go ahead to. I’m disgusted in the service never mind the brand…….. I will fight this as I need the internet for business and personal use and I’m sure there are many more people out there with the same issue, in fact I have people in the same office as me experiencing the same issues. Telkom can listen to all the recorded calls. I can’t believe a company that’s trusted can trick a client into a worse service than the one he was complaining about. I just want the service removed so I can move to a service provider that can assist a client and provide the service we pay for.
