#Worst Customer Service in history-Day light *******#Incompetant Staff

August 2016 my 2 data contracts was due for upgrade. On the 13th August I went to the Telkom store in Promenade mall Mitchells Plain to upgrade to 2 voice contracts. I was told by Waseemah that I'm not able to upgrade to the voice contracts. She needs to cancel the contracts and apply for 2 new voice contracts. There is a cancellation period of 30 days .I also request from Waseemah that for the Huawei I want to keep my old number. She said that they can only do that once the contract is cancelled. In the meantime the Huawei will need to use both sims. I was fine with that. Later in that week I was contacted by Waseemah to collect my phones. When I collected the Huawei, the Wednesday, Waseemah had left already for the day and other assistant gave the Huawei asked him to explain me about the contract, he advised that I must download the Telkom app to the phone and there I can top up airtime etc. The Telkom app would not work, I went to the Telkom Kenilworth centre, where they explained to me that the Telkom app is not for my type of contract and that I should dial *180# and I can set a spend limit per phone. Which I did set a spend limit of R100 per phone.

Two weeks later the data contracts was cancelled. The old number wasn’t working and the new number. I could not make any calls from the phones, I called the call centre, they explained to me that contracts was not activated. I went back to the store in Promenade and was assisted by Lesley. Lesley advised that the old number was completely cancelled and there was no request the keep the number. She managed to retrieve the number from the system.

Then end of September +_ R1000 was deducted from my bank account , with no statement to me. all my personal details are correct and my request for the statement is email. I called the call centre on 1 Oct ,was two hours on the line with them, only discover according to them that I'm paying for 3 contracts, the agent was going to email my statement(still waiting on the statement) and opened a query to be investigated. 30 October same thing , no statement yet +_almost a R1000 deducted from my bank account. If I wanted a R1000 contract, I would have taken out one.1 Nov I went to the store in Promenade Mall, spoke to Waseemah, she confirmed that I'm paying for 3 contracts(one of the old contracts was not cancelled).I'm being billing R285 extra data usage over the R100 spend limit that I have. Eventually the Store Manager- Geneve Haupt assisted me, who promised that she will escalated the query to the billing department. Who will contact me in 5-7 days. She again confirmed all my contact details. I request if they not able to get hold of me, they should email me. No one ever did. Still waiting on the call. Later that day got an sms that your query was opened. A week later an sms that is was resolved, with NO CONTACT from anyone. PATHETIC. I, THE CLIENT called the call centre, only to find that the query was closed because Waseemah notes to query to them was vague. Patricia Mokwena from the head office emailed Waseemah on the 1/11 and on 8/11 for more information , Waseemah did not respond. Therefore the query was closed. There was no sense of urgency from anyone to resolve this matter, Not from back office, not from Waseemah and not from the Store Manager Geneve. Go to hell with the customer.

I went to store again on the 13/11 Geneve was not in, No store manager on Sunday. Waseemah and Lesley refused to assist me. They insisted that I must wait in the long line.. Even thou I’ve been at the store numerous times with the same query. No sense of urgency to resolve MY matter, not their problem..
