WORSE SERVICE PROVIDER EVER

We took out a contract with telkom in October 2025, we have had issue upon issue regarding our billing.. early deductions ...the again another billing issue.

I visited a Telkom store were we app**** for the phones and they were unapologetic and informed me to contact billing as it is a billing issue and it will be resolved within 48 hours, it has been a week.

To start at the beginning ... our contract payment date was scheduled for 5th of each month... You deducted on 29th and then expected us to pay the debit order fail amount. I went to store and loaded a query and we were told it will be resolved within 24 hours.

My husband made an immediate payment via shoprite as the monies was never deducted from our account.

My husband was then phoned from telkom call centre informing him we have to pay for the debit order fee, but it was an error on telkom side...even the store informed us.

Our phones has now been restricted for over a week, I went to store and was informed..the billings department made and error and gave us a R1000 credit treshold it was suppose to be more, hench there is a R400 shortfall we need to pay and our phones will be put on...or they will log a query and it will be sorted out in 48hours. HERE WE ARE 48 HOURS...still with our phones off.

I want to know will we be refunded for Telkom lack of errors on their side leaving us without connection for more then a week? this is unacceptable as we have just taken out these contract and your service is just beyond terrible.

The staff at the store including the manager is unhelpful and constantly on their phones, they refused to give me the store email address to log a complain...the manager told the person that assisted me..I should contact billings as it is a billings issue...WELL IM INSTORE AND WANT TO BE ASSISTED.

At this point Im already fed up with the back and forth and am ready to report this matter to ombudsman and return the phones...and Telkom can fly to the moon...
