Worse

Before moving into new premises four months ago I queried dsl line availability at potential rentals and the one I liked Telkom confirmed installation on move-in date. No one pitched and I have had countless empty promises for weeks after. Call centre told me that they had no way to communicate with their technical department so couldn't help. I went onto twitter to get anything that resembles customer service, within two days a technician was at my door. The good news ends there though, the guy said he could install the line because they had to first install juncture boxes on each floor of the complex which is a huge and expensive job. The following day I spotted another technician prodding a Telkom box and cabling in the street , I rushed over to interrogate. He said that there was no need for juncture boxes he could install directly.<br> The next thing I hear is that my query was escalated to cabling/financing department. After asking for feedback I received an email today to tell me that there is no dsl availability but the more expensive 3G/lte offering is available.Since I work from home I would have chosen different premises instead I am forced to use the expensive lte option
