Wont allow me to upgrade package, they want me to take out another contract

So I joined Telkom on behalf of our business and got us the LTE deal with 20GB including the router. I specifically asked the lady at Telkom Direct whether I would be able to upgrade at a later stage and they said yes, sure. So this morning I went to the Telkom Direct store in Canal Walk only to be told, I can not really upgrade but would have to sign a complete new contract!!!!!!!!All I want to do is upgrade from the 20gb for R439 to 30gb @ R499 BUT I now need to pay an additional R90 a month because they need to give me a new router as is would be seen as a new contract. Are you MAD Telkom, I would then rather pay the R800 cancelation penalty which would be cheaper than the extra R90 a month?!?!??! I refuse to upgrade now and you are now losing out on an additional R60 a month (you might consider this as insignificant but R60 from 100 customers does not seem so puny anymore). I will rather use my Neotel router and recharge. Ridiculous!!! And atrocious service at Telkom Direct too! People structuring your deals are flat out dumb and ***********! Your red tape has nothing to do with your customers, I should be able to upgrade my package with more data, as simple as that! Woooooow!!!

Hi Moenieb
Had it not been for Portia Ngutsi from Telkom Direct N1 City once again, this would not have been resolved. Its a known fact that your consultants at Telkom Direct Canal Walk is ***********, unfriendly and they definitely confused me. I have already sent another compliment to ********** but will never visit Canal Walk again. On a previous occasion the sales lady was on her iPad scrolling while speaking to me...Just so you know...
