WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR NO SERVICE!!!!!!

During November 2017, I posted a review on Hellopeter. I was for 3 months without Telkom service. From the 27th of August to the 2nd of December 2017. At last they fixed my telkom line and ADSL. By that time my account was in arrears. I refused to pay for service that I didn't have. On the 6th of December I called to dispute my account. They gave me a ref. no. ********** 7. We went on holiday. I received the next account and they haven't given me credit. So I called again on the 3/4th of January. Nothing happened. On the 9th of January I called again. Nothing happened!! On the 16th of January the person at the call centre re-logged the dispute with ref. no. ********** 7. And yet nothing happened!! On the 24th of January I called again. Nothing happened. So today, the 30th of January, I called and asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor said she'll send it through to Management. But the biggest joke of all, she advised me to pay my full bill, otherwise my service will be suspended!!! At this stage my account stand on R2534.51. I told her that I'm not gonna pay before they solve my account. It take them from 6 December 2017 to 30 January 2018 and nothing was sorted, which means I'm gonna have 3 months credit with Telkom. They won't pay me back the credit!! The credit will be on my account. Only today, she also told me that it's an automated system and the fact that I haven't paid my account every month, is the reason that my account wasn't credited. None of the consultants at the Call Centre told me that. As a matter of fact, most of them said they understand why I won't pay. Meantime they even charged me interest!!! I said to the supervisor that I will only pay on the 10th of February, if I have an outstanding amount for the period that I did have service. Now I'm waiting to see what happen until the 10th of February. It's absolutely ridiculous that one should have so much trouble to get joy at Telkom.
