Why is Telkom still allowed to operate?

Telkom allowed an account to be opened in my name, when I called them I could not access it due to not having the account holder's details. It took me numerous times going in to them to get the account closed (time I did not have). They demanded payment before closure and it seemed that it was resolved until now, where I have been handed over to POPIA debt collection. POPIA also saying the account is closed (something that was supposed to be done) but I do not believe them, their systems are also down!?! The account was opened by my Body Corporate without my consent. Telkom never took it serious and 3 years later still being an absolute pain about it. Our body corporate moved more than a year ago if it is not more to Fiber that has nothing to do with Telkom.. Why is this still a problem? I heard of a distant family member who had to go with her husband's ashes to prove that he cannot close his account becaule he is DEAD.. Why can't you do a proper job? Why don't you read the notes captured on your own systems??
