Why do we have to deal with ***********/lazy telkom call centre staff?

Why do we have to deal with ***********/lazy telkom call centre staff? Why are they able to just hang up the phone when they please? Why is it that people in higher positions have their contact details hidden away from us? Why does it take so long for our problems to actually be resloved? Why are they allowed to lie to us about faults being escalated only for us to find out from another consultant that it has infact not been escalated?

The point im trying to make, is that Telkom staff are allowed to be lazy, arrogant and cheeky to paying customers. They are allowed to, and they are also protected in doing so. They are protected by the fact that we cannot communicate with anyone in higher positions. We cannot complain about their poor customer care services, let alone their poor company services.

I do not know of one person who is atleast one bit satisfied with or ever looks forward to dealing with telkom in any situation. This is more than just a customer complaint. This is a massive problem that sums up and puts into perspective the problems this country faces as a whole, when it comes to incompetence and lack of service delivery. This needs to be dealt with.

I have been told my ADSL is down because I haven't payed, then I have been told my line is in a testing center, then I have been told it was my router that is the problem, then I have been told my fault has been escalated and I can expect a technician to be assigned by the 2nd of march, and now I have been told that there is maintenance in my area however it has been a week since the problem started and it is only my line that is not functioning correctly. Telkom, what is happening ?
