Who knows whats going on at telkom?

I have an existing installtion from telkom that hasn't been used for over a decade. We used to have a landline that has some kind of wirelss setup. I wanted to know if the equipment can be used for anything else besides voice calls like converting it to provide internet access. I don't know how many times i called and how many i was redirected but absolutely NO ONE could assist with something as basic as information. I was interested in their offerings but seeing how much i had to struggle, I have no hope in telkom as a service provider of any kind. Is speaking to a technician of someone with field knowledge that much to ask for?
