When is enough enough

Where to start... I got a Huawei Pura 80 at the end of December 2025. In April of 2026 the phone started acting up. Distortions and crackling on speakers and irregular dialing tones. I contacted the branch where I got it from and explained that requires repairs and that I am sourcing a temporary phone first. The first issue was that the telkom branch in Greenstone Mall moved. Assuming that a smaller shop found upon enquiry would be the new location. I was then informed that that specific branch moved to another mall. I kept on being pushed from the one branch to the next. Then they don't have access to the fault reports, incorrect stationary on letter heads, not the shop I had the contract with and then they could book it in. To be clear, the phone was not dropped or damaged by me and was in an immaculate condition. The current Greenstone shop assistant took pictures and my details to book the phone in under a warranty repair. She then proceed to place it unprotected in a courier plastic bag. Upon contest I placed it back in the original box to be booked in. This must have been around 10 May 2026. I few days later I got a message on text stating that the phone was fixed.. Speaker replacement etc and would be at the shop in 4 days. On day 6 after not hearing anything I called the store. Then only to find the the line was all diverted to the store that moved out of the mall. Later the day I got a number and I was informed that the manager from the store allegedly tested the phone and it was not working and that without my knowledge or consent was sent back to the SSS repair center. We are now on about the 25 May 2026. Two days later on a new reference number I was informed that the phone would be back at the shop in four days. So on Monday late afternoon I received a call from the branch that the phone is now fixed - for the 2nd time... I proceeded to collect it the next afternoon after work. When taking the phone out of the box there was noticeable scuff marks and scratches on the phone. The assistant again took pictures and suggested it be returned to SSS. I said let me set the phone up 3 June 2026 and test it as I can't go without a phone as I also needed to return a loan phone to a family member of mine. So I set the phone up and guess what. The same issues were still present. I approached the store and the store manager said that it needs to be booked in for repairs again to a place that in my opinion provided false repair information. I enquired about a temporary loan phone, which according to them was not possible. They further suggested that I drive a 150km to Menlyn at my expense at it it the only local hauwei outlet that could help. I asked about the recourse and possible replacement of the unit of which I was informed that I could never be on the cards. The insinuation was that it must be returned for repairs until it's fixed. There is no customer service, it is a shame on the Telkom brand and places Huawei's name under disrepute. They should end their partnership with Telkom. I don't have any option other now to use a broken phone in case of emergency or work purposes... Shame on you Telkom... Sorry for you Huawei...
