What now???

After a lengthy search My boyfriend and I were about to rent a flat but first we wanted to make sure if the area could support ADSL because of my boyfriend playing online gaming competitions. Phoned Telkom in the first week of March already and they said it was not a problem at all and even gave a date to come and put the lines in. So we got everything ready, sent everything to the landlord got their permission, they are busy with our lease final touches before we sign and give our deposit. The date was Friday 13 March. The guy never pitched. On the Monday my boyfriend phoned to find out what's going on and then was told no that an assessor had to come out first to see if the area was capable to support ADSL. Today the 17th of March we are told that the area does not support ADSL at all, but if we had to live 2 streets up from where the flat is we could have had ADSL line put in no problem. <br> We are about to sign the lease and pay the deposit this week. Now we have to find another place to stay by the 1st of April because of them. 2 weeks to find another place to stay!!! How is this possible????
