Well done Telkom

For once a good news story about Telkom. My landline went down on Wednesday afternoon - so I logged a fault online thinking it would have to be followed up with a call to a mind-bogglingly tedious call centre. Lo and behold, 09:00 the next morning, there's a knock on the door, and it's Ralph from Telkom. He comes in, confirms it's not my equipment and disappears to the local box. He takes the trouble to call me on my cell to say its going to take a little longer than he hoped. But by that evening all was back up and running. He popped in again on Friday to check all was ok! Well done Telkom - there may well be hope yet!
