We are not safe with Telkom

I lost my phone on Friday the 11th of March, Saturday morning I went to Telkom in Alberton city next to game to get a sim swop done. I was very shocked and surprised to find that my number is Rica'd under a different person. I went to the same store last year to get this sim card and got it Rica'd but they tell me it is under a different name. The lady went on to say I don't even exist on their system! I very concerned regarding the safety of our particulars with Telkom. We link these numbers to all our personal information, including banking. One doesnt recieve paperwork when a sim is Rica'd with them, so how does one prove that it was done there? I trust what the consultants tell me as I assume they know their jobs. I feel our safety is compromised at Telkom! It clearly means my efforts to protect my number by going to get it at the store and making sure it's Rica'd! I want my number back. Can you look into this matter urgently!
