Waiting for refund after cancellation

Gee, where do I begin? This review is a follow-on from my last review. I have a reference number for this query, which is AI ********** , given by Telkom by their HelloPeter division. For a moment, it seemed like I finally got a response from them. I received the following email from them:

"Hello Mark

Your case is receiving attention , we are sorry for the delay in response. Account has been credit for the internet that was cancelled after Oct which adjustment were done .On the contract which records show the account was open at the Telkom Branch in 2015 where a contract was signed, we are waiting for the confirmation on the signed documents as we have requested the branch to provide with the signed form

Once we have received the documents we will advised and credits will be adjusted where necessary. That wil mean the contract forfeit cost will be adjusted once confirmed by the Telkom branch.

Regards & Thank You

Celiwe

Ops Specialist: Social Media

Division: Multimedia Channels

Contact : 081 180 / 10210

This email was sent to me on the 26th December 2016, and have not had a response since then. I have sent several emails but have not had a response. On the 3rd January 2017, I was debited again, an amount of R441.22. Credit? What credit? I have received another statement mid-Jan saying that my account balance is now 0.00 after this deduction. Thus, to date, since the October cancellation, which should be effective from 5th October, I have paid over R2109.66 for a service I have not used. They need to refund me those monies less whatever the cancellation fee is. I am still awaiting a response on that.

Can we please close this matter already?

Kind regards

Mark Pelzl
