WAITING ALMOST A MONTH FOR A NEW PHONE!!

I made a claim on the 24th of March for a lost phone. I've never skipped any of my premiums, I've always paid on time. Every time I call Telkom Insurance I get told that the claim was escalated and they awaiting feedback.

What is upsetting me is that I'm paying for a month of not using the phone. I'm paying for data and airtime that I do not have access to. I'm also paying for the month's insurance even though I do not have the phone. Basically I'm paying for a month's service which I haven't received. It's extremely shocking that I Telkom would expect me to still pay for this month of not having a phone or making use of their services. I really need a phone and to be without one has completely put my life on hold and I feel absolutely at the mercy of Telkom with this claim as they can take how ever long they want to and I must just sit back and keep paying them for something I do not receive.

Please help me.

Regards

Matthew

I've contacted Finrite multiple times only to hear the same story, "The claim has been escalated and we awaiting feedback". I don't understand why I need to do so much following up. I bought my insurance through Telkom (even if it's Finrite working on behalf of Telkom). Telkom is making use of Finrite's service. But honestly I am past the point of concerning myself on who's responsibilty it is to make sure the client receives their service fairly. All I want right now is to be credited for the month of not being able to use Telkom's service. I am going to lose out on a month's worth of airtime and data. How is that fair? If my data and airtime can be carried over to the following month and I do not get charged a service fee for the month I will be happy. But having to pay for something I'm not receiving at all is leaving me extrememly unsatisfied.

Its now been 2 months and I'm still waiting. If I don't receive a new phone before the 25th of May 2017 I simply will not pay my installment as I haven't received any service.
