Waiting 2 months for Telkom after paying deposit!!!!!

I app**** for uncapped internet in July 2018 and paid a R700 deposit on 28 July 2018. A week later a technician came out to my address to do installation but found that the telephone pole was rotten and he could not install. Today is 17 September 2018 and still no one has come out to replace / fix the pole for installation to happen. Do I really have to wait 2 months after paying a deposit!!!!! I also cannot get hold of Telkom due to high call volumes and if I get through they tell me that the technician is booked for a certain date to come out to my address but it just never happens.
