Very unhelpful sales department and false advertising

<p>On Tuesday I went to the Telkom branch in Baywest, Port Elizabeth to ask about a contract on the Samsun S6 and a gentleman gave me all the information I needed and told me he would be able to set up the contract for me. I went to the same branch the next day with the intention to apply for the contract. First of all, all the sales people were on their cellphones sitting behind the counter barely looking up when I went in. You have to drag all the information out of them they answer your question and then look down to the counter as if dismissing you. Highly unprofessional. I went to the lady at the desk told her I would like to apply for the contract and she lazily informed me that they do not have contracts for the Samsung S6 and when I asked for the reason she told me that they have not had stock for months and when I asked her when they would receive stock again her reply was that they will never receive stock again. and thats when she dismissed me once again. First of all why do you advertise something that was discontinued? Both online and in the pamphlets? I am very disappointed at Telkom at the moment having to fight for a sale. I was prepared to sign a two year contract for goodness sake. Why must I, the customer, fight for a sale? This did not happen only to me yesterday. My friend had the exact same experience yesterday. That is two contracts so far how many other people have walked away from Telkom simply because of bad service and false advertising.</p>
