VERY UNHAPPY CLIENT

I am very upset with poor service from Telkom in Clearwater mall, my phone's screen started flashing it did it before and they fixed it, as it was still under warranty, when it did it again i took it back to get it fixed, they called back to say it is not under warranty anymore and it will cost over R5000 to fix, i asked them to rather send the phone back and i will take in to samsung to get it repaired. They told me that before i get my phone back that i will just have to pay R180, as a release fee i said it is fine i waited for Telkom to call me when they had the phone back. I was under the impression that by phone was with Telkom and not with an outsourced company. I went back to Telkom to see if my phone was back but i did not have my white paper with me so i said i will return with it i will have to look for it, i did find it and when i went back to see if it is with them they told me it is still with the repair company and that i will have to pay before my phone gets back to them, so i wanted to pay Telkom at the store and they said i must pay the repairs company direct which i did while in the store and i also forwarded my proof of payment, to an employee of Telkom so he could request for my phone to be send back. I waited a few weeks and then went back to Telkom and they told me they still have not received it back.

I waited a few weeks and then phoned Telkom to find out if it is back and they gave me the number for thew repairs store. I called them and they told me the phone was sold to recover cost, I would like to know what cost as they did not repair it? I did call the repairs company and they said Telkom must assist me and if i go to Telkom they said i must speak to the repairs company.

I expect Telkom to assist me as i have a contract with them they send my phone away and i was also not notified that if i don't pay the release my phone will be sold, i did go and read the fine print afterwards and it does say if your phone WAS repaired and you don't pay them they will sell your phone but i clearly said don't fix it send it bac**** And is it allowed to sell peoples property without notifying them????

I am still paying R700 per month for a phone i don't have. I would also know when they sold my phone and for what price?

We have 2 contracts with Telkom and we will be canceling because of the bad service, we did see a manager at the Telkom store , she did log a call and when we went back she is not available and we still have no feedback.
