Very poor service

I have been to the Telkom store in Secunda Mall twice in two weeks to port my number from Cell C to Telkom. The reason I wanted to port is because I already have one Telkom mobile number and, during load shedding, I can still make/receive calls on Telkom network but not on Cell C. The sales person that helped us, Xavier, was very helpful, friendly and professional. However, we (my wife and I) are still waiting to be ported. I even tried their Portme SMS number, ***, but got an automated reply that the PortInBySMS service is temporarily suspended. They don't have any other contact numbers. I phoned their customer services, but were told it is only a call centre and they can't help me with porting. At this stage I am not impressed with Telkom at all. I even convinced some of my friends and family members to port to Telkom, but I will now inform them not to waste their time with Telkom and to stay with their existing networks.
