Useless Telkom

<p>I was conned into subscribing to Telkom's 40mbps line and package in Feb 2015. At best my connection speed has been between 0.5 & 2.5 mbps, and every time I phone to log a fault the line gets reset / reshaped/ redesigned, after which the connection speed increases to anything between 18mbps to 33 mbps. The problem is that it lasts no longer than 2 minutes, after which it drops to 0.5 to 2.5 mbps.</p> <p> </p> <p>After countless fault logs and complaints for more than a year, on the 20th June 2016 three different call centre agents confirmed that I was conned and it is not possible for Telkom to provide a 40mbps service in my area.</p> <p> </p> <p>As confirmed by the call centre agents, the only option is to cancel the service and ask for my money back.</p>
