Useless and pathetic

Telkom is a useless and pathetic provider I app**** more than six months ago for a laptop/data package. two weeks ago I received an Email that a consultant would contact me soon is this the norm for Telkom after six months of applying they send you an E mail stating a consultant will contact you soon and then what do I have to wait another six months
