Useless Accounts Department...

I started getting SMS's saying that my account is overdue, which was surprising because I've paid all the invoices on time, every month without fail. I rang up Telkom to find out what this was about, a nice gentleman answered the phone and he explained to me that theres an amount of R765.94 outstanding from ±3 months ago. I was surprised like "Whaaaaaaat, When, With Who?". He rep**** and said I need to hold on because he needs to check. He came back after about 5 minutes, he said that he needed to do some calculations. After he did his calculations, he was like "hmmmmmm I don't know what's going on here". (Like dude, you work there and you have no idea). So he put me on hold again, Assuming he went to go get the army to calculate E=mc squared! After some time he got back and I asked him what the outstanding amount was for, which he could not tell me. So I decided to end the call there rather.

For a company that has been running for 26 years and have been in the cell phone market for 7 years, your accounts department is sickening.

I do not understand how it is that on has to hold on for aeons to get through to a call centre agent, just for them to no be unreliable as well as inaccurate as well. Your debit system is unbelievable, sometimes I have to do my own payments because my account never gets debited and your rates that I am billed for are also not acceptable. How do you bill someone and not have someone adequate enough to explain where difference in my bill occur and then have the nerve to cut me off. I do not understand how I am held at fault when your accounts department can barely function or as matter balance.

I am infuriated at the fact that my line has been cut off and that trying to get through to someone to explain to me is unbelievable. Like I could be dead on the other line before I can get through to anyone to assist in my account. Why does your customer services lack competency and accuracy? Why is the customer held liable for defective accounts department on your side?

Awaiting your favourable response.
