Use it like that until we figure out the problem

Could someone advise me on what to do next. I have a 2 year contract sim card. Got it in January 2018. SMS stopped working in June/July. Everytime I complain they tell me they are working on it. In the meantime they are forcing me to use a product that is not working properly. And they are refusing to replace the sim card. Please advise
