Upgrade Turned into a Downgrade
On Tuesday the 7th of July, I requested a line speed upgrade for my ADSL which was currently running at 4mbps, wanted 10mpbs. Call centre agent said it is possible for the upgrade and proceeded with the request. I was notified that the upgrade would take 48 hours. On the 8th of July, ADSL and phone lines were down and only came back online after 20:00 that evening, where my speed was downgraded to 2mbps. I logged a call with the technical department (Ref 416CNK080715) to investigate the problem. Yesterday I phoned Telkom after the 48 hours have passed to find out what the issue is, only to be told that upgrades will only reflect after 72 hours. Now after 72 hours, after a lengthy phone call to Telkom, all their systems indicate that it should connect at 10mbps, which it still does not, and on that same note, the technician was only assigned the call today, friday, after 2pm, and now will only see anything done next week (hopefully)...

Still on 2mbps speed, and NO-ONE can tell my why I have been downgraded

Absolutely pathetic....
