Upgrade of Aztech routers -have to buy a new onr
On 01 August internet went down although it said full strength. Telling said it was the isp at fault. ISP said it was a router problem as there were a number of people with Aztech routers having the same problem. . 17 calls later eventually last week called and paid for a private person to come out. 2 hours later same thing. Currently in a queue st Walmer Park Telkom with 14 people of which 5 are carrying their Aztech routers. Woman says it was because of an upgrade. Irrespective 3 of us the warranty has een out and we still have to buy a new router. Disgusting. And if you know there's a problem at least try offer an apology or have a dedicated person. Flippen ridiculous.

30 Aug 2017, 17:12Hi Keagan, thank you for responding. The gentleman at Telkom Walmer Park exchanged my router at no charge. I had done everything Telkom had told me to do, including going to buy an additional cable, as I couldn't find my original one as I was connected via wireless . When I called back another person said there was no need to have done that. Bottom line, it was eventually the problem was sorted and I appreciate that I am now connected. It appears not all your call centre people are fully trained. Under these circumstances , they should be able to allow you to speak to a supervisor, which I was told could not happen. This is just a suggestion.
