Up to sh#t service!

I wanted to take out a contract with Telkom. I saw the deal in their booklet for the Huawei P10 Plus. I decided to visit the Telkom in Carnival Mall Brakpan (as it is the nearest branch for me) on 15 September 2017. Once I was in the shop the service didn’t go to bad. The consultant that helped me explained everything to me nicely. She sold the phone and the contract to me just to tell me that they don’t have stock of the colour I want (gold), and she needs to order the phone. I asked how long will it take for the phone to be delivered to their store so that I can know when to expect it. The consultant told me that it will take 1 to 2 weeks. I waited until 1½ weeks (28 September 2017) when I first contacted the number for the carnival mall branch – which directed me to a helpdesk. There I spoke to a customer care consultant and she promised me she is going to send an email to the consultant that originally helped me and the management to ask them to follow up on my order and to contact me to let me know what the progress is. No one ever came back to me. I then phoned them on the 4’the September 2017 to again follow up on my phone. The consultant said that they still don’t have any stock and that Telkom receives stock Monday – Friday, I then asked so it can me Monday – Friday next month which of the consultant answered yes. I threaded to cancel the contract as I was promised that my phone will be ready for collection in the time frame of 1-2 weeks. After trying to get through to them today – the phone just rings with no answer. I REALLY THINK TELKOM’S CUSTOMER SERVICE IS UP TO ****!!!!!!!! I can’t stand the fact that there is just no decency to let your client know if you have a problem with getting them the stock-which your promised will be ready in 1-2 weeks? How can you promise a client a phone in 2 weeks’ time and keep them waiting for 1 month??

I am so disgusted in their way of operating – a company that is this big and deal with so many people daily – you don’t even deserve a 1-star rating! #****edoff
