Unusual data consumption

I must say I am truly disappointed with Telkom, I'm new to the Telkom family, and it came highly recommended, but yesterday after using my mobile wifi fo the first time, within a short space of time I was already on approximately 900MB? I also have Vodacom wifi and that takes me atleast 7-10 days to even use that much,but with telkom it too me less than 2 hours collectively? i'm even scared to switch this router on, Most of the stuff on my phone is disabled, e.g cloud back up, Siri, Location services, background app refresh, etc, I only use data to check emails, whatsapp and to facebook..It beats me how it can take me days on vodacom to use that amount of data but on telkom it's only less than 2 hours?? Something is seriously wrong with your network
