Unsatisfied customer with suspicion of de*****ed

I took a new contract before my other one has expired the lady who assisted me told me it will automatically be canceled. It wasn't place me in financial rastrain. To find out they have deducted R1718. 47 in July 25 which I question why they have send me to their legal team instead of contacting me, the worst thing the mentally disturbed me, I paid R2080 which they didn't reject it I am awaiting my refund which their legal team never contacted me. I viewed my statement which I was suppose to pay R599. 00 but know my bill is huge very disturbing. Assist me before I go to ombudsman to intervene.
