Unresolved refund query

<p>My Telkom mobile contract was supposed to be cancelled in September last year after I followed the process of cancellation by completing and submitting a cancellation form in Telkom shop Lakeside Mall. This was done in September.</p> <p> </p> <p>However the contract was never cancelled and Telkom continued to debit my account on monthly bases for a service that I was not using as I was under the impression that the contract was cancelled.</p> <p> </p> <p>When I became aware of the contract not being cancelled I logged a query with Telkom to get the contract cancelled. This was not done until I wrote 2 reviews on Hellopeter. After the second review on Hellopeter which I wrote on the 28th March 2017, the contract was then cancelled the following day on 29 March 2017.</p> <p> </p> <p>After cancellation I expected a refund to be paid for the months that I was debited, but this was not done. I then logged a case for refund in April 2017. I was promised that the turnaround time for cases is 72 working hours. It is now almost 2 months and the case is not completed.</p> <p> </p> <p>I called Telkom mobile for the 9th or 10th time and was told that the case was escalated. This is exactly what I get told everytime I call about this case.</p> <p> </p> <p>If I say I am dissapointed with Telkom it will be an understatement. Dissapointment does not even come close to explaining how I feel about Telkom's service.</p> <p> </p>
