Unnecessary wrong debit orders after cancellation

Non-stop unnecessary debit orders are constantly put through my bank and bank charges are shooting up in a rediculous way. I went to branch, qued for a long time, cancelled debit orders, and yet, they still put the wrong amount debit order through. I want this to stop. Is there no such thing as service and contacting a customer any more. Terrible service, and this will never change in this lifetime.
