Unnecessary callout was actually necessary...
Ok, I have my internet completely not working for 2 weeks straight. Sit on the phone with Telkom and then wait another week until I get a technician who's willing to lend us his awesome insight as to why the ****ing connection absolutely does not work. The router is perfect in my personal opinion, in fact, every other single ****ing function works on the router, so I suspected nothing wrong with the router to begin with. To be very technical, the following was functioning: USB, LAN, WIFI adapter, Admin page (10.0.0.2), sending receiving of data via local intranet. No connection via internet though. I was told there will be a callout charge of R150.00 is I remember correctly. Regardless, the technician checked while I was busy doing my rock climbing activity and when I got home, my brother told me the story as he checked while I was absent. Nonetheless, the technician checked everything and there was no fault with the line, there was a fault with the router. Who would've guessed? Now, the best part of this whole ordeal!! I get charged ****ing R250 because it was an \unnecessary call-out". I don't understand how the technician knows what is wrong and then he marks it as unnecessary."""
