Unhappy customer

Hi I have a complaint about the service that i am getting from Telkom and the call center agent who i spoke to. Our land line stopped working and when i called to find out how it can be fixed they tell me that it was cancelled. we received no warning or no communication that they are doing away with land lines and that we should get a different phone, we cannot affor to loose this landline number because we have had this number for more than 30 years and all our lives revolve around that number, this is our primary number, we all have cellphones but the numbers change all the time and we loose cell phones all the time this is the reason why we have kept this land line and to wake up one morning to a phone that is cancelled with no warning or another option for us is not right. i would like to have this resolved, and to understand how we are going to move forward from this, this number is important to us, all our life documents are registered to this number, please help
