Unfair practices from Telkom

Telkom is literally the worst service provider I've ever come across in my entire life. I just found out that a consultant **** to me and told me my upgrade was month to month,only to find out he locked me into another 2 year contract. How did I find out?I wanted to cancel because I was tired of telkoms poor service. So instead of canceling my policy with a 30 notice period as I thought, I can either stay locked in this contract for a service I do not want anymore with a company I cannot stand or pay a R3500 penalty fee,which is absurd. I didn't want a contract. How is that fair? And to make it worse the service in store is so ****ing ****ty,words cannot describe it
