Unfair billing and unhelpful staff

In April I changed banks and requested that my direct debit order be cancelled and moved. This was not done and on a monthly basis I have had funds removed out of an account that is no longer active. This means that each time this happens I am charged a fee of R120.00 by said bank. My Telkom line has been suspended even though I have made payments by EFT as per my R200 cap (the line ONLY exists so that I can use broadband with another supplier).

When I called Telkom today to try to sort this out I was cut off twice. Then I spoke to an extremely rude consultant named Ben. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that someone would call me back. Ben's response was along the lines of 'let's not waste our time discussing this'. Very poor. I have now been told that each time the direct debit does not go through I am charged R180.53. How is this fair/possible? I notified Telkom months ago to cancel my direct debit. I make a payment each month via EFT. I have phoned Telkom to complain many times since April and never been told of this R180.53 charge even though each time the direct debit does not go through I phone Telkom to try to change the direct debit. Disgusted!
