Dear Telkom, You made an offer for a Dell i5 laptop deal @ R379 per month for 24 months and I accepted your offer, twice over. After you accepted my order you seem to have realized that the deal is too good to be true. So now you want me to re-order and take a lower spec laptop at almost the same price??? It is not ethical to make offers and then retract them after you have accepted it. It is not my fault so don't punish me. Punish the marketing people who failed to withdraw the adverti*****t in good time. Or the product pricing people who did their calculations wrong. Or your procurement people who can't leverage on Telkom's purchasing muscle to negotiate lower prices from Dell. If I signed a debit order and then realized I can't afford it, would you accept it if I requested to reduce the monthly payment or increase the term? I don't think so. So please fulfill my order. And to be flexible on my side, I will accept one Dell i5 (or any other make or model with equivalent specs) instead of the two I ordered.
