Undisclosed penalty for UPGRADING contract

On the 23rd of March 2017 I requested an upgrade from 20GB to 30GB LTE. The conditions that were dicussed and agreed to were that I would go from paying R399 to R549. I asked if there any further ramifications and the sales consultant insisted that this would be all. All of a sudden, I receive a bill/statement amounting to R1242.54. Included in this amount is a penalty (which was not disclosed at the discussion). I am not willing to pay this penalty as I would not have been willing to proceed with the upgrade had I known that I would be penalized for wanting to spend more money with Telkom by upgrading. I request that we either, 1) Revert back to the old contract and cancel the penalty or, 2) Continue with the new arrangement and cancel this undisclosed (and unagreed to) penalty, or 3) prove that the penalty was diclosed. In the mean time, I have suspended my debit order pending a fair resolution of this matter. I will make a manual payment on what has been agreed upon.

Feedback: I have contacted Telkom again on the matter since the Telkom Social Media Team ignored me. The 1st line customer service representative has clarified that the R600 migration penalty was for the balance of the device installment since I was cutting my 20GB contract short (this is acceptable). The problem is that I have been charged a monthly device on my new SIM only 30GB contract without having been given a new device (not acceptable). In his opinion these amounts will need to be credited by the billing department. Query ********** 4 has been lodged in this regard.
