Uncapped Wireless application or Phishing attempt?

I app**** for SmartBroadband Uncapped Wireless online at [URL Removed] recently. Yesterday, while driving home I got a call from a +***. The woman I spoke to at first didn't seem to know what she was calling me for. Eventually I figured she was trying to process my application. She asked for my bid number, which I gave her, then my ID number and then said she needs to ask me 5 questions. The questions ranged from things like my address, to the most recent amount I paid on my Vodacom account (I do NOT have a Vodacom account). Then she told me that my application had failed because I had answered the questions wrong. She agreed to try again but these new questions started asking some personal questions, which I was not ready to give to some stranger on the phone, like the purchase price of my house. Why would you need to know that to provide me with a broadband connection. She eventually said that if I don't want to answer the questions then she can't help me and she hung up. Is this a phishing attempt or a valid application process from Telkom? I still have no idea. I'd still like the product but not if it means giving this personal info.
