Uncapped LTE... More uncapped than LTE

With the promise of 'Lightspeed Internet' I signed up for the Smartbroadband Uncapped LTE special in June 2016. I recieved excellent service from the store. After about a month or so, speeds started decreasing drastically. To the point where web pages would become unresponsive. The time of day also made a difference, early hours of the morning were better, peak times terrible. This tells me one of two things:

1. There is strain on the network in peak times (The service was promised to be limited to a certain amount of users per base station so as to not affect speeds)

2. Throttling is happening. (I quote the original explanation from Telkom 'You will never be throttled' The exception was, Bandwidth Intensive Protocols [Defined by Telkom themselves as P2P and NNTP only] once a 'cap' of 50GB was reached, the speeds for these BIP's would be throttled to 128kbps)

This is not LTE, and was not the deal. This has been ongoing for 2 months or so now and as time goes on, 128kbps seems to be the norm, if i'm lucky.

So Telkom, fix it or lets call it a day. This is not what I signed up for, nor is it what I pay R799p/m for.

I eagerly await your resolution.

Dave
