Uncapped LTE LIES!!!!!

As I write this complaint, I am sitting with an "uncapped" 90mbps LTE service, that is running at 256kbs. Yes, you cannot even buy 256kbs ADSL any more in the world. This is because Telkom thought they were clever and decided, half way through a contract bound by law, to implement an Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP). Without any notice on how this policy would work, all LTE users were left in the dark on their paid service, which is now the complete opposite to what they signed up for in the first place.

Telkom did not mention what they govern as a fair amount of data used per month, nor are they giving customers any sort of feedback on their slow speeds. They are just being silent about it, and pretending that everyone who has reached this AUP cap, are experience “technical difficulties”. 250GB seems to be the AUP cap, which I reached a few days ago. 250GB is less than I would use per month on my MWEB 4mbps ADSL line. What is going on Telkom? I am filing a complaint at ICASA on breaking your original agreement, as well as going to look into how you can be fined for robbing consumers against laws that protect us against this type of business practice. You might know them as a Consumer Protection Act, which you think you are clearly above. The worst thing about this, is that we are all now tied into a contract that we cannot get out of, and paying for something completely different.

Best regards,
It does not matter how far you escalate this issue. This is much bigger than just a fault on an ADSL line, this is breaking the law, and I will make sure that everyone who is affected by this, will know what you have done. You cannot get away with changing a contract and forcing people to pay for it when it is not anything like what we all agreed on.

Hi My contact details are as clear as day on the site. In case you do want to call me, which I suggest you do not as I will destroy you over the phone, here is my cell number ********** . In the time being, your response via email, does not answer to why you changed a service we all used, to be so very different from what we signed up with. We cannot cancel our contracts, nor can we even use the package at all. It is against the law. I have in the time being, been in contact with various media platforms, and a post, which you can see here (https://www.facebook.com/GamesWithCoco/posts/ ********** ********** 3), is going viral.
I will not rest until your sad excuse for a business practice is made public. You will not get away with this one, you either let me cancel my contract with you, or you come up with something to fix this issue. I have even cancelled the debit order that is supposed to go off on the 15th of this month, and I have advised everyone who follows me on my media platforms to do the same. 256kbps is not worth the money we pay for this pathetic service you now offer, and it is not what I signed up for. So you know where you can put that AUP of yours right? Lube it before you do.

So no feedback means you clearly don't care. Well, I have stopped the debit order on this new service which you forced me into, and I will not be using it. You can come and collect your modem and antenna. I WILL NOT be paying any fees extra for this as my contract with you ended when you changed the terms of service without me agreeing to them. You basically signed me up for something which is a complete lie and now blame it on being in the "fine print". I have read through that old document a dozen times and there is no mention of this AUP. I am done with you, and you can sue me or do whatever you want to do, I have a customer protection act on my side and you have a ****ty reputation on yours.
