"Uncapped" LTE getting throttled
<p>I signed up for the uncapped LTE promotion that promised that it would never be throttled for streaming, youtube, facebook etc and only had a limit of 50gb on data intensive protocols like torrent downloading etc.</p> <p> </p> <p>My speed is generally very good - i can easily get up to the 90mb/s range but I have found that I have been throttled down to 3mb/s without warning or notice. My peer to peer traffic is no where near 50gb.</p> <p>How can you offer a product and once a user signs up for that product and has used it for a couple months, then suddenly decide to change the product in such a fundamental way, after specifically stating that streaming and youtube etc would never be throttled, only the data intensive protocols would be.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is no longer uncapped LTE, as after 250gb, it is no longer usable. This is no longer the same product I agreed to when I signed the contract. </p>

I did not recieve any email notification. I am only running 1 PC, not using any data intensive protocols ie. torrents etc. I am simply streaming movies and watching YouTube - The main selling point on this package was that it was truly uncapped and that streaming, facebook and youtube would never be throttled. I have not broken any fair use agreement and have used it for what the package was promoted. You cant say you will not be throttled for streaming and then throttle me when I stream... The 250gb limit equates to less the 2 hour of HD steaming per day. This is not the service I agreed to. You have completely changed the package.
