Unbelievable service, pure frustration
<p>I can believe this is actually happening. Trying to get Telkom or Afrihost to get my adsl line reconnected. The one literally blames the other and send me back and forth between each other. 4th day without connectivity. 10000 calls and messages. Neither could be bothered, all they say is to call the other and wash there hands of me. Telkom billing confirms payment was received, reconnected my landline almost immediately however my adsl is with Afrihost so they can't help with that. Call Afrihost and they say they never suspended the line...must call Telkom billing and so it continues since Wed.</p>

Below, is the latest response I got from Afrihost (19 June 2016). This is 5 days of the same back and forth messages/ calls. I am again requested to contact Telkom, which suprise, suprise I HAVE!!! Called 10210 and talked to the billing and technical people. One puts me through to the other........and then the pure evil at Afrihost (see below).

Apologies for the inconvenience caused.
Checked the status of the line ********** 377 and your line is active on our side.
The line shows that its suspended on the Telkom side.
This might be due to the account for your voice line with Telkom.
Have attached a screen shot to show that the line is active on the ISP side which is us but suspended on Telkom side.
So you will need to contact Telkom and have them unsuspend the line.
Hope that will assist.
