Unauthorized upgrade of my contract

I would like to bring to your attention an unauthorized upgrade of my contract.

My contract was due for an upgrade which I turned down on NUMEROUS occasions over the telephone. On the 6th of August 2018 I attempted to put through a cancellation in time for the 30 day notice which was rejected and I did not understand why.

On Friday 10 August 2018 a lady from the Telkom upgrade department called to offer me an upgrade, I requested that she call me on Monday to discuss what deals Telkom currently has to consider but she did not call. Today I went into a Telkom store in Mall of Africa to enquire why I am unable to cancel this service online. To my utter surprise I was informed that Portia Tsotetsi upgraded my contract to a FreeMe 10GB without my consent 20 days ago. I have been billed R415.06 for something I did not authorize.

How does Telkom allow an action such as this to take place without correct authorisation from the client?

I am aware that all your calls are recorded, I will therefore request the recording where I authorized this contract upgrade and any documentation or communication informing me of such an upgrade which I supposedly agreed to.

Please refund my account accordingly and cancel this contract with immediate effect, I DO NOT WANT TO UPGRADE THIS CONTRACT.

I look forward to your URGENT response and action on this matter

Regards
