Unauthorized Billing without any form of justification whatsoever

This review is written on behalf of our parent company, RCAS. We have been contracted with Telkom as our service provider since 1988. In the last year, Telkom has been charging our business with a 'usage' fee in excess of R989 on a monthly basis which we never approved, nor were were ,made aware of the charge . Upon enquiry they stated to us that this charge was a 'Yellow Pages charge' and informed us that we would need to contact Yellow Pages themselves to cancel the monthly charge. After repeated attempts at emailing and calling Yellow Pages, to no response, we approached Telkom again with the view to cancelling the service. Telkom responded by blocking our account, but not cancelling the service, to which we are still subscribed to. The quality of Telkom's customer service and response was nothing short of abysmal. The lack of transperancy and accountability is truly shocking and is the exact opposite of the kind of service provider you would want your business to be contracted with, we are looking to conclude our 30 year association with Telkom and we would not recommend them as a service provider to any new or existing businesses
