Unacceptable Service from Telkom 10210

On Monday 9 May 2016 I started experiencing some internet connection issues and this was the "normal" just after 6pm but then I would drop connection and was totally not able to access the internet. I ended up calling Telkom (10210) either the same day or the day after (can't remember) and the agent I eventually got through told me there was a general problem in my area because the exchange seems to be faulty and that according to the notes that he had it will only be fixed on that coming Friday (13 May 2016) I wasn’t given a reference number for the call. That whole week my dsl service was offline. Friday came and I ended calling Telkom that Friday evening at around 6pm as my service was still offline. Speaking to an agent, seeming very nice tried a few things, router on and off etc, then she asked to put me on hold then a few seconds later I was asked to rate the service... really?

I then called back and spoke to another Call Centre Agent (Khani) not sure about the spelling, but in the tone of her voice I could hear she was very annoyed that I was wasting her time, rushing me on the phone, reset the router old password, new password then click, step 1-3 next, next, next. after all this and me losing my cool with the agent the problem still persisted, i demanded to speak to another agent and requested a ref number ***. She gave me such attitude after I was patient with Telkom whole after being told the exchange in my area was at fault then finding out that it wasn’t the exchange at all and that it was that my dsl account was deleted. I was aware that it was going to happen because I requested my dsl service to be moved to Afrihost. but the SMS I received on Wednesday 11 May 2016 said I have 5 days to conclude the migration after the line has been fully migrated. which then meant that even before I received the SMS my account was deactivated. This was strange that all the call centre agents I spoke to could not pick this up except for one Sweat lady at 10210 I called on Sa****ay afternoon at around 1pm says that she cannot find my "online" account configured on my router. Even the Agent with that Attitude that seemed to know it all didn’t event pick this up? The time wasted on this that i now cannot get back, i run a small business from home as well and am entirely dependent on internet access and had to make additional mobile data purchases just to fulfil my commitments etc.

I've been a loyal customer for the last few years and to have been treated this way is unacceptable! The quality of service needs to be looked at!
