Unacceptable Service From Accounts Department
I'm utterly disappointed with the service from Telkom. After having been a loyal Telkom customer for 2 years, I decided not to renew my contract because of poor service delivery and lack of fibre in our area (even though other service providers had been installing fibre in homes for months).
I went to the shop and completed the cancellation form in September and I was informed that at the end of the month, the last debit order would go off. It has now been 4 months and Telkom is still debiting my account for the ADSL even though I told them to cancel EVERYONE and that I would not be keeping the line. I even received an SMS from them confirming that the service has indeed been terminated but lo and behold, I still get invoiced and I still get debited.
Today I went to the Telkom shop to enquire about this and I have been told to complete another cancellation form. Why should I have to do this again? If I received a text confirmation of the cancellation, why should I repeat this? I WANT THIS SERVICE CANCELLED NOW AND I WANT MY MONEY BAC**** You can't keep debiting my account when I'm not using your service. That's ****************. I regret taking out a contract with Telkom and I'm just done with you. This is why I moves my services elsewhere.
If this issue isn't resolved, I have no option but to take you to ICASA.
